CountNook changes state in response to taps, clicks, keyboard actions and imported files. It cannot observe attendance, inventory, repetitions, stitches, scores or practice quality. Check important values against the real activity and correct a mistake while the relevant undo, correction or reopen path is still available.
Where a count matters beyond personal convenience, keep the original record or an independent check appropriate to that activity. CountNook is a working aid, not the authoritative source for an attendance, stock, safety or competition record.
General counters
Goals and bounds are organizational controls, not guarantees that a target is appropriate or that a count proves completion. A custom step applies the number selected; it does not inspect what one action should represent.
Stitch & Row
The project records the stitch, row or round and repeat details entered. It does not read a pattern, inspect fabric, identify a missed stitch, calculate garment fit or certify that the chosen repeat length is correct.
Stocktake
Stocktake records manually entered observations for one count session. Expected quantities are optional comparisons: a difference does not establish theft, loss or an automatic adjustment. The tool does not track live stock movements, prices or valuation, supply accounting records, or certify a physical count. Unknown items remain unknown until explicitly confirmed.
Observation
Observation records manually entered landings at one feeder perch. Landings are not counts of distinct birds or a scientific survey. The tool cannot verify attention, detect missed events or establish absence during gaps. Device times can be wrong; recorded order is retained. Do not use this personal record for safety or clinical monitoring.
Rep & Set Counter
Rep records the repetitions you enter for completed sets of one exercise. It does not detect movement, verify technique, prescribe an exercise or assess health. A finished session records your entries, not a verified activity measurement. New session replaces the current record; no archive or export is provided.
Game Night
The scorekeeper totals complete signed-score rounds under the selected high- or low-score direction. It does not know a named game’s rules, validate a score, enforce turns, settle a dispute or invent a tiebreaker.
Cornhole
Cornhole applies ordinary completed-round cancellation scoring to final valid bag counts. Players judge fouls, bag validity and disputes. Flexible corrections and record restoration are casual scorekeeping features; CountNook does not officiate play or claim tournament-rule compliance, ACL/ACO affiliation or endorsement.
Darts
Darts applies 501 straight-in, double-out scoring to ordered outcomes supplied by two players. Players judge the darts and physical play. Later corrections, short-visit review and retained retraction are CountNook personal-record features; they do not enforce DRA competition correction or finality procedures. CountNook does not officiate play or claim DRA affiliation or endorsement.
MTG Life & Commander Damage
MTG is a manual record for two to four players with one commander each. Players resolve card effects, actual combat damage and life changes. Separate source totals and threshold indicators do not declare elimination or winners. Multiple commanders and auxiliary counters are excluded. CountNook is not affiliated with or endorsed by Wizards of the Coast.
Music Practice
Clean and Retry are self-judgments. CountNook does not listen to audio or assess pitch, rhythm, technique, mastery, health or readiness to perform. A streak is a record of the choices made, not an independent proficiency result.
